CITC to Host GAO Discussion with Alaska Native Veterans

As an agency of the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) has been asked by the U.S. Senate Committee on Veterans Affairs to review the U.S. Department of Labor’s efforts to provide employment and training services to Native American veterans.

GAO representatives will visit Anchorage, Feb. 25-27. CITC will host a roundtable discussion (with call-in capacity) for the GAO on Monday, February 25, 1-3 p.m., with Alaska Native veterans regarding their views on opportunities and challenges related to employment and training programs.
