SUMMARY:3rd Annual Tribal Youth Symposium
DESCRIPTION:Cook Inlet Tribal Council will be hosting our 3rd annual Tribal Youth Symposium in Anchorage at the CITC Nat’uh service building. The symposium is a three-day conference that offers professional development and networking opportunities for staff and youth working in our villages; past attendees have included representatives from Cook Inlet villages\, local/regional nonprofits and school district staff. \nTopics offered during this conference have included curriculum development\, hand on STEM activities\, introduction to grant writing\, culture camp roundtables and site visits to local educational resources. \nWe welcome anyone working with youth around the region to attend this event. CITC will cover travel and accommodation expenses for up to 2 staff from each CIRI village\, but you are welcome to register additional attendees if interested. There is no charge to attend this event. The attached registration will help us with developing the event roster and logistics planning. \nIf you have any staff and/or youth that would like to attend please have them complete the registration packet and send back to CITC by Friday\, December 15th\, 2017.
