DESCRIPTION:Strengthening Our Youth is a peer-led healthy life skills and sexual health education program specifically designed for youth and young adults between the ages of 14 and 21. It is open to people of all cultural backgrounds and there is no cost to attend. \nParticipants will receive comprehensive education on healthy life skills and sexual health and also presented with various opportunities to earn gift cards and appropriate incentives throughout the implementation of the lessons. \nYouth will gain valuable knowledge and skills that will empower them to make informed decisions regarding their health and well-being. The program offers a supportive community where they can engage with peers who share similar experiences and concerns. It provides a safe space for open discussions and the opportunity to learn from each other. \nJuly 10-12 from 8:30-12 p.m. at the CITC Denelchin Lab\, 7710 Grass Creek Road\, Anchorage\, Alaska 99508. SUMMARY:Strengthening Our Youth (3-day class)
DESCRIPTION:Strengthening Our Youth is a peer-led healthy life skills and sexual health education program specifically designed for youth and young adults between the ages of 14 and 21. It is open to people of all cultural backgrounds and there is no cost to attend. \nParticipants will receive comprehensive education on healthy life skills and sexual health and also presented with various opportunities to earn gift cards and appropriate incentives throughout the implementation of the lessons. \nYouth will gain valuable knowledge and skills that will empower them to make informed decisions regarding their health and well-being. The program offers a supportive community where they can engage with peers who share similar experiences and concerns. It provides a safe space for open discussions and the opportunity to learn from each other. \nJuly 10-12 from 8:30-12 p.m. at the CITC Denelchin Lab\, 7710 Grass Creek Road\, Anchorage\, Alaska 99508.
