DESCRIPTION:Every Monday\, CITC’s Unsah Jan Prevention program hosts a Youth Wellness Group for youth ages 13 – 18. Meetings focus on developing life skills\, health\, and overall wellness. Food is provided. Past activities have included paint night\, basketball\, hiking\, swimming\, and spa night. \nGroup typically meets at the Nat’uh Service Center Rasmussen Conference Room #2\, but may go offsite for some activities. \nThe Unsah Jan program focuses on suicide prevention\, drug and alcohol prevention\, and life skills and wellness development for all young people\, but is specifically design to meet the needs of Alaska Native\, American Indian\, and LGBTQ youth.
