SUMMARY:Career Skills: The Power of Resilience
DESCRIPTION:The Power of Resilience: Recognizing Strength and Staying Steady\n\nResilience is the foundation of Our People—and this class proves it. \nThis empowering class highlights the strength\, adaptability\, and perseverance participants already carry. Rather than framing resilience as “pushing through\,” the course explores resilience as the ability to stay regulated\, flexible\, and grounded—especially when expectations\, conflict\, or pressure show up at work. \nParticipants will learn how resilience is measured in workplace settings\, why employers invest heavily in resilience training\, and how to manage their energy while staying engaged and dependable. \nAs part of the ARCTIC Workforce Certification\, this 1 & ½ hour course validates our participants’ experiences and highlights individual resilience. Participants will engage in discussion and identify how resilience helps handle stress\, adapt to challenges\, and remain steady in changing environments. \nIn this course\, you will:\n· Understand how resilience is measured in the workplace\n· Explore why employers value resilience\n· Define your personal window of tolerance\n· Recognize how expectations can test resilience\n· Practice strategies for staying grounded during challenges \nPerfect for:\nAnyone who has navigated adversity and wants to turn lived experience into workplace strength. \n907-793-3467
