The Adult Basic Education (ABE) program develops participants’ fundamental skills in math, reading, and writing concepts as they prepare for the official GED tests. Participants will increase their grade-level equivalency so that they may move on to a higher level GED preparation program. ABE also promotes college, higher education opportunities, and career readiness.
Adult Basic Education services curriculum includes:
- mathematics
- reading
- writing
- computer literacy and typing skills
- education planning
- study and test-taking skills
- goal setting
