Current Needs

Support the NYO Games

Every year, thousands of athletes across Alaska come together for exciting, healthy competition in traditional Alaska Native Games of skill and strength. Hosting NYO is a team effort, made possible by individuals and businesses who donate their time, talent and funds to NYO. Help get our kids in the Game!

Feed a Vulnerable Family

Hunger impacts mood, learning, and relationships for many CITC families every single day. Our Food for Vulnerable Families program helps them stay nourished, build connections, and find hope. Support us in combating hunger and aiding families in need.

Corporate Partnerships

Collaboration is the key to making true impact. Committed corporate partners help Cook Inlet Tribal Council change the lives of over 12,000 Alaskans every year. When your organization partners with CITC, you can build brand recognition and engage employees in meaningful volunteer work, all while giving back to your community.

NYO Games

Every year, thousands of athletes from more than 100 communities come together for exciting, healthy competition in traditional Alaska Native Games of skill and strength. NYO keeps kids in school, celebrates culture, and promotes healthy lifestyles. We invite your organization to join us as a sponsor.  In turn, you will receive excellent recognition for your contribution while making an important investment in Alaska’s greatest resource—our youth!

Denelchin Lab

Imagine having the equipment, materials, and instruction needed to design and build whatever you can imagine. Since 2014, CITC’s Fab Lab has merged cutting-edge technology with instruction rooted in Alaska Native culture to unlock the creativity and potential of thousands of Alaska Native/American Indian students throughout the state.

And now we’re SUPER-sizing our impact. Join us a sponsor of the Denełchin (Dena’ina for “to make something”) Lab, a new, state-of-the-art makerspace open to all. Together, we can equip students, entrepreneurs, and small businesses with the skills to serve as Alaska’s next generation of engineers, designers, artists, innovators, and researchers.

Alaska Education Tax Credit Program

Investments in many of CITC’s programs, including NYO and Denełchin Lab, are eligible for the Alaska Education Tax Credit Program, which offers qualified businesses a tax credit equivalent to 50 percent of a company’s investment, up to $1,000,000.

The Education Tax Credit was established in 1987 to encourage Alaska businesses to invest in Alaska’s educational programs. The credit is a partnership that provides mutual benefit for industry, the qualified organization, and the State of Alaska. If a business owes the State of Alaska a tax liability and it makes a contribution to a qualified educational organization, it may be eligible for a credit against state taxes.

These taxes include:

  • Corporate Income Tax
  • Fisheries Business Tax
  • Fishery Resource Landing Tax
  • Insurance Premium/Title Tax
  • Mining License Tax
  • Oil and Gas Production Tax
  • Oil and Gas Property Tax
