DESCRIPTION:Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is an intensive two-day training (from 8:30-4 pm both days) on how to hold a suicide intervention. ASIST is an evidence-based program that offers tools for the average person to identify and have a conversation with someone at risk for suicide. It’s an essential tool for those who work with both youth and adults at risk for suicide\, but it can be a great resource for empowering you to help those you care about in your personal circle. \n**ASIST is not recommended for anyone that is actively grieving a loss from suicide. \nIS THIS FOR YOU?\nBecause of the nature of their content\, ASIST and safeTALK trainings must be held in person.
