Life Skills: Healthy Nutrition

In this class, participants will learn fundamental principles associated with Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fats, the Glycemic Index, Salt, Vitamins and Minerals, Organics vs processed and preservatives/additives in food. We will also be pooling our knowledge together developing a better understanding of subsistence activities and food as well as the concept of “eating on a TANF budget.”
