Youth Workshop: Understanding the Census

Aug 12, 2020 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

free

Your voice matters! Why on earth should you and your family bother filling out the 2020 U.S. Census? Well, for one thing, data from the census is used to decide funding for things like schools, community programs, hospitals, fire departments, and more!

Learn more about what the census is all about in this workshop directed specifically to young people.

This workshop is being held in person and has limited seating, so sign up today!

The workshop is also available virtually. Call (907) 793-3344 to register for in-person class, or phone in at (571) 317-3122 & enter meeting ID 215-075-453 to attend virtually via GoToMeeting.

Is This For You?

This workshop is for youth ages 14-24. Preference is given to those that are in 477 Youth Services, but any CITC-enrolled youth can participate, as we usually have slots available.
