Life Skills: Job Search Tips

This workshops helps individuals understand what employers are looking for and the steps for a successful job search. We’ll review types of self-assessments and explore participants’ transferable skills. Finally, we’ll explore how to research industries and companies, how to polish a resume and other documents, marketing your skills, overcoming barriers to employment after incarceration, networking, and understanding the local job market.
