CIRI is showcasing handmade Alaska Native Arts and Crafts for its Third Annual Holiday Craft Bazaar on Saturday, December 3rd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its headquarters located at 725 E. Fireweed Lane.
The event will host approximately 40 artists, selling a wide range of unique and gorgeous handmade Alaska Native arts and crafts items, such as hand-woven baskets, mukluks, kuspuks, ivory carvings, beadwork, jewelry and more!
A silent auction will also be held to benefit Koahnic Broadcast Corporation (KBC). 100 percent of the proceeds from the silent auction will go to KBC, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. KBC’s mission is to be the leader in bringing Native voices to Alaska and the nation. One project that it does this through is KNBA 90.3 FM, the first Native radio station located in an urban market.
