Cook Inlet Tribal Council (CITC) will hold a public testimony opportunity regarding its plan to use Indian Community Development Block Grant funding to renovate Cook Inlet Housing Authority’s (CIHA) 53-unit elder development, Kenaitze Pointe, located at CIHA’s Centennial Campus at 8871 Centennial Circle in east Anchorage. The scope of work will include renovation and modernization of all residential units, including new paint, flooring, fixtures, appliances and casework as well as upgrading the building’s common areas, mechanical systems, elevator, roof, exterior siding, and security access systems. If funded, renovation work will begin in Summer 2025 and be complete by the end of 2026.
Testimony will be heard from 3-4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, in Cook Inlet Tribal Council’s Ninilchik Room (room 447), located at 3600 San Jeronimo Drive, Anchorage, Alaska.
