SafeTALK is a 3 hour, in-person introductory training on recognizing suicide symptoms, keeping the person safe, and getting them to resources.
SafeTALK and ASIST are not recommended for anyone who is actively grieving a loss from suicide. If you are currently distressed or have been recently affected or bereaved by suicide, we recommend that you delay participating.
Suicide is preventable – everyone can make a difference.
In these trainings you will become aware of cues to identify someone in need; learn tools to quickly and effectively respond, and gather resources to help a person in need.
