Who: Alaska Native Youth ages 10-24 years old in the Anchorage and Mat-Su area.

What: Please join us in making Yup’ik drums and holiday ornaments.

Where: Start at Cook Inlet Tribal Council at 3600 San Jeronimo Dr. Anchorage, AK 99508

When:
December 12th, 13th, 14th – Drum making 3:30-5:00 pm
December 15th – Ornament making class 2:30-4:30 pm

Why: To teach Alaska native youth how to make drums and to make an ornament to gift.

How: The Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Native Connections grant is sponsoring this event in partnership with the Alaska Native Heritage Center.
