20 Sep The Space to Dream Bigger
CITC celebrates the opening of the Denełchin Lab
“Denełchin” means “to make something”–and we recently made a big move to our new Super Fab Lab! The Denełchin Lab is a state-of-the-art creative space where students use high-tech design programs, industrial grade machines, and programming tools to transform ideas into reality. Simply put, Denełchin Lab is an expansive learning space designed to create opportunities for our youth to connect with their endless potential.
Thank you to our partners and supporters who made our next big dream a reality! The Denełchin Lab was once just an idea–but with the support of our donors, we can celebrate opening of our newer, bigger makerspace, where individuals can build their dreams into reality, too. We have recognized our valued partners with a donor wall inside the lab, acknowledging individual and community partners, including our major funding partners: CIRI, M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, Rasmuson Foundation, First National Bank Alaska, Hearst Foundations, ConocoPhillips Alaska, Northrim Bank, Member FDIC, Enterprise Holdings Foundation, Wells Fargo, and many more.
