Amy Fredeen Entrepreneurial Fellowship Application Open Through June 3

In honor of the Cook Inlet Tribal Council’s (CITC) friend and former CFO, the late Amy Fredeen, CITC has established a fellowship to continue creating opportunities for Alaska Native and American Indian entrepreneurs.

The Amy Fredeen Entrepreneurship Fellowship will support Alaska Native and American Indian entrepreneurs as they grow into business leaders. Through this opportunity, CITC’s honors the spirit of the leadership Ms. Fredeen provided through her work with the 49th State Angel Fund to advance the growth of several business investments and entrepreneurial start-ups in our community.  

Criteria include:

  • Open to Indigenous entrepreneurs who are 18 or older.
  • Applicants should possess experience and a strong interest in business planning and entrepreneurship.
  • Willing to commit to a year-long fellowship within CITC’s entrepreneurship program and other local partners.
  • Able to work independently and on multi-functional teams. 
  • Ability to work both independently and within multi-functional teams.
  • Willing to work 20 hours per week
  • Have a flexible schedule

Fellowship Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with CITC partners to make entrepreneurship more accessible for Our people and to promote diversity and participation.
  • Act as a representative of CITC within the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
  • Be available onsite for evening and weekend entrepreneurship activities and events.

  • Fellowship to begin in August 2024
