Life Skills: Job Fielding

In this class, participants will learn about the different aspects of “how to land the job” by preparing a professional resume, cover letter and reference list as well as how to interview like a professional with many examples of what not to say and what to say when asked questions during the interview process. We will also take a closer look at appearance for an interview with regards to clothes, tattoos, piercing & hygiene as well as how to disclose information about criminal background or disability diagnosis. Also we will briefly cover information about fidelity bonding, variance options and other services offered in Anchorage when trying to get hired with barrier associations as well as the significance of your online image.
