Youth (3rd-6th grades) will be immersed in the Alaska Native culture with activities such as daily Elder and Youth time; creating a miniature traditional home; NYO Games; making Agutaq; and field trips to the Alaska Native Heritage Center, Trampoline Park, and Animal Wildlife Conservation Center.
Students will make their own traditional ice fishing poles and then travel to nearby lakes.
